It’s been such a success for Disney and Marvel that most companies are trying to create their own hand at the ‘cinematic universe....

One interesting trading card that players can obtain during Ellie’s first day in Seattle is the Doctor Uckmann (Dr. Uckmann) card. Given that the card pays tribute to the game’s director, it’s backstory is not just a blurb about the game’s fictional superhero universe, but rather, it appears to be telling a message from within Naughty Dog....

Since then, the developer has released several new details about the upcoming game, which unfortunately included the confirmation that The Last of Us 2 won’t be getting an online multiplayer mode. To those unfamiliar, the original game featured an online multiplayer mode called Factions, which allowed up to eight players to embark on competitive gameplay. Factions featured three game types called Supply Raid, Survivors, and Interrogation. While this component of The Last of Us was not as popular as the main campaign, Factions is considered to be one of the most underrated online experiences out there and was has since built a dedicated player base...

This move comes on the heels of Naughty Dog reportedly wrapping up production on The Last of Us 2 and development shifting focus to early patches and the next project for the company. With the game having gone gold recently, it’s likely that the break in development is what has uncentivized Denton to make the transition to Obsidian Entertainment as the Microsoft company wraps up on the upcoming title Grounded....
