RELATED: Most Iconic Anime Babies
These iconic anime characters are known for not just their personalities, but also because of their unique and unusual noses. Unlike most characters who have small and dainty-looking noses, these characters’ noses are pretty big and, in some cases, oddly shaped as well.
10 Buggy The Clown (One Piece)
Fitting to his name, Buggy has a round, red nose that’s typically seen with clown-type characters. It doesn’t appear to be a prop either, because he had the same nose in all of his childhood flashbacks. He’s also very sensitive about it and will lash out violently if anyone makes fun of it, or if he thinks that someone is talking about it.
This means that he’ll either execute the person or punch them in the face. Regardless, Buggy’s nose is his signature in the One Piece world, and even his pirate crew banner has a red nose on it. As long as no one talks about it or makes fun of his nose, people are safe around Buggy.
9 Mike Zacharius (Attack On Titan)
Mike wasn’t around for too long in the series, but fans do remember his strong sense of smell. He was able to detect Titans from pretty far away, which isn’t too shabby of an ability to have around. He didn’t really use this ability much in the series, but he was known for it and also had a strange habit of sniffing new people he met.
Those who already knew him ignored this habit since they knew he meant no offense by it and it was just one of his ways of getting to know people. While his nose doesn’t look like anything special at first glance, his sense of smell is what makes it and the character so iconic.
8 Plue (Rave Master & Fairy Tail)
Most fans might know Plue as one of Lucy’s Celestial Spirits in Fairy Tail, but this little guy first appeared in Rave Master. His appearance is the same in both shows, and it’s hard to not love him. He’s small and fragile, and his nose looks like a golden horn or a really sharp carrot. It looks pretty deadly, but it just so happens to be a part of a being that isn’t really strong.
This doesn’t matter too much as Plue isn’t necessarily a fighter and is more of a pet for Lucy. In Rave Master, Plue’s nose is a small indication of his mood and it will deflate a little if he’s hungry. It also has the ability to pierce through objects from humans to Dark Brings, showing that Plue’s nose isn’t there solely for visuals.
7 Cyborg 002, AKA Jet Link (Cyborg 009)
When side by side with his comrades, Cyborg 002 stands out because his nose is a bit longer than the rest of the group. If fans didn’t notice that first then his hair color and style are pretty out there too. No one makes fun of him for his nose, but longtime Cyborg 009 fans know 002 because of his unique and distinct appearance and love him for it.

However, some recent works have opted to give 002 a drastic change in his character design. His hair is now blonde and sleek, and his nose is a lot smaller too. That said, it still has a sharp shape to it, as seen in 009 Re: Cyborg and Cyborg 009: Call of Justice.
6 Arlong (One Piece)
Arlong has plenty of features that make him stand out among other anime characters, from his skin tone to his sharp teeth. However, what really stands out is his saw-shaped nose. Characters in the One Piece world are known for having some exaggerated facial features, but Arlong’s nose seems to be unique to him.
No other fish-men seem to have the same nose as him so he stands out even more. It just adds to his rather scary appearance and fits his cruel personality to a tee.
5 Kaiji Ito (Kaiji)
If there is one character in the anime world that has a very distinct nose, it’s Kaiji Ito. His overall appearance doesn’t look like most characters. He has a long face with sharp eyes and his nose is pretty long. There are some characters that look similar to him in Kaiji, but he still stands out since he’s the main protagonist.
Kaiji is easy to remember because his facial features are pretty exaggerated. He was even referenced in Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku when Narumi was talking to Hirotaka. While viewers couldn’t see her entire face during this part, her nose looked exactly like Kaiji during this bit.
4 Yubaba (Spirited Away)
This is one woman that can scare just about anyone with one glance. If her unnaturally large head doesn’t disturb viewers then either her eyes or nose will. Her nose is practically the size of Chihiro’s whole torso.

Yubaba is actually not a very tall person, but her head makes her look huge. It’s really hard to pick where to look whenever Yubaba appears. If viewers aren’t looking at her huge eyes or the mole in between them, her large nose is pretty hard to ignore.
3 Erwin Smith (Attack On Titan)
Erwin is known for having some pretty strong facial features like his eyes and eyebrows, but his nose does get a lot of attention too. It does give some fans mixed feelings though, mostly because they can’t determine if his nose looks fine or if it’s too big.
Either way, it cannot be denied that Erwin usually looks pretty sharp even when doing dangerous missions. If anything, Erwin is pretty easy to spot in a crowd. He’s also tall, which just adds to his intimidating yet mature appearance.
2 Margaret, Elizabeth, & Ekaterina (Magi: The Labyrinth Of Magic)
These three ladies don’t look like typical anime characters, but no one should be fooled by their unique looks. All three of them are very popular hostesses at their respective pleasure houses. Their large and muscular physique helps them to stand out, but their faces certainly grab attention as well.
Their chins are squared off and long, giving all three of them a masculine appearance and their noses look different too. It looks a little bulbous where it begins, but the tips of their noses are pretty long. Regardless, these ladies are comfortable with their looks and are very successful too.
1 Usopp (One Piece)
When it comes to memorable and iconic anime noses, Usopp is probably one of the first characters to come to mind. He got his nose from his mother and the rest of his looks from his father. Even in the world of One Piece, Usopp’s nose is pretty noticeable and he wasn’t really fooling anybody when he disguised himself as the Sogeking.
The only person who didn’t know it was him was Luffy, but Luffy is a pretty gullible guy. Everyone else was able to figure out very quickly that the Sogeking was Usopp. Though he looked cool, fans are happy he ditched the disguise and went back to showing off his face.
